| While in ESO and Bachillerato they will do so on the 16th and in FP on the 23rd of the same month | The Councilor for Education, Mónica Sánchez, has announced that the 2020/21 school year in the municipality of Cehegín will begin in Infant and Primary Education on September 7; and in Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), Baccalaureate and Adult Education on the 16th and in Vocational Training (FP) on the 23rd of the same month. A few days ago the Ministry of Education approved the calendar in the 45 municipalities of Murcia and it was published in the BORM on Saturday, May 27.
The Municipal School Council of Cehegín submitted its proposal for the 2020/21 academic year, which was sent to the Autonomous Community for final approval.The calendar proposed the start and end dates of the course at the different educational levels in this municipality, as well as vacations and local festivities or non-school days for the festivity of the patrons in the different teachings.The end date of the school year in these teachings will be: June 17, 2021 in Infant and Primary Education; and on June 16 in the cases of Secondary, Baccalaureate and FP.In addition, the school holiday periods would be from December 24 to January 6 (Christmas holidays) and from March 29 to April 2 (Easter holidays).Likewise, the corresponding teachings are established as festivities: November 27, 2020 (Early Childhood and Primary Education), January 29, 2021 (ESO, Baccalaureate and Adult Education) and February 1, 2021 (FP). They are set as local public holidays (unworkable for labor purposes determined by the municipality) on September 10 and 11, 2020.Similarly, other non-school days included in the proposed approved school calendar are January 7 and 8, and April 5, 2021.
