The mayor of Cehegín, Alicia del Amor, has held a meeting with the pavilion construction company to discuss different issues and difficulties in the construction of the new pavilion at the 'Javier Miñano' facilities, adversities in which work began since her A government team carried out a project whose execution did not reach 1% and for which no invoice or certification had been paid, with the aggravating circumstance that the money received by the insurance company due to the collapse of the old Loli de Gea pavilion, had been spent under the concept of 'single box'.After this meeting, the mayor has made a new visit to the works, accompanied by the technical team of the construction company, as well as the director of execution by the city council and the Councilor for Works, Pedro Lorencio, all of them familiar with first-hand knowledge of the day by day of these works and that they are working insistently so that our neighbors can enjoy when before these sports facilities.Del Amor has declared that 'there is an urgency to finish the new pavilion, because the people of Cehegin do not understand that two and a half years after the collapse of the Loli de Gea, they still cannot practice sports in Cehegín in a dignified way, a motivation that put us in working tirelessly to make these much-needed facilities available to our neighbors.
