The Mayor of Cehegín, Alicia del Amor and the Department of Commerce, led by María Dolores Agudo, have announced that the Wednesday market will be reopened, after the Government of Spain has announced the possibility of restarting the activity, in Phase 1 of the de-escalation of these types of markets that are held outdoors on public roads.For this, the consistory has had to relocate the market location, the new location will be the Ginés Ibáńez Park, since in the streets and spaces where it is currently held, it is not possible to comply with the new social distancing measures, nor can guarantee that the influx of people does not exceed the capacity allowed according to the de-escalation phase, nor does it allow a linear distribution of the positions.Starting next Wednesday, in this new enclave, only food stalls will be allowed, limiting both the number of habitual or authorized stalls, and the capacity of the public, depending on the size of the new site, in order to guarantee safety and public healthThe City Council will carry out an access control and the use of masks and gloves is mandatory and that people keep their social distance, as recommended by the health authorities
