The Mayor has highlighted "how important the agriculture sector is for our development, the engine of our economic development, space for the detection of problems and the search for solutions that concern us institutions, especially that of the city council I represent, that we cannot forget we are geographically in a place where the primary sector is an important percentage of our economy, an indispensable element as a generator of products for half of Europe '.
The counselor has commented on the concerns that have been transferred to Madrid;
highlighting the need for VAT on the pot and cut flower to be reduced to 4%;
exemption from self-employment in certain circumstances;
arbitrate in withdrawal mechanisms;
work with the insurance compensation consortium;
make ICO funds more flexible for our farmers;
promotional campaigns focused on consumption;
the declaration of the cut flower as an essential activity or the non-modification of the milk contracts.
Producers have brought immediate issues to the table that are creating added difficulties.
