The Councilor for Employment and Economic Promotion, Juan Guillén, has explained some of the initiatives and actions that are being carried out by his council since the declaration of the State of Alarm in our country.

One of the first to be carried out was the launch, from March 30, of a telephone number for inquiries and questions for businessmen, the self-employed and the general population.

The mayor explained that to date 20 consultations have been managed, all of them of a diverse nature, carried out mainly by freelancers and SMEs.

Employed workers have made 8 inquiries about their employment situation.

At the same time, lines of work have been established with municipal services in charge of knowing the “legal� situation of the companies and of the workers who carry out their work in them.

On the other hand, publicity is being carried out periodically on the regulations published both on social networks, such as sending by e-mail, Washhap, etc., in addition to the publication of Guides, services, data from ERTES, contact data from SEPE and SEF, etc. , as well as the diverse information of online courses.

On the other hand, from the council and its corresponding departments, that is, the Center for Economic Promotion, meetings are being held with technicians from the INFO, ADLS, to learn about future aid that will be called from the different organizations.

The mayor has also explained that aid is being studied at the local level that may be beneficial for all the different business sectors and there is contact and monitoring of the situation of the nurserymen of the Center for Economic Promotion.

At the same time, intermediation is carried out in the management of job offers.

Juan Guillén explained that "from the first moment, this department is working, from its different departments, in a coordinated effort that can transmit first-hand information to the business sector of our municipality and we are also working together with the rest of the Department in preparing and approving a municipal budget as soon as possible, focused mainly on alleviating, within our powers and economic possibilities, the dire consequences that this pandemic is causing in the economic and social fabric of Cehegín.
