This morning we had the presence and help of 20 military personnel and five army vehicles, belonging to the Paratrooper Brigade based in Alcantarilla.
At the request of the Mayor of Cehegín, the military visit our town in the framework of the BALMIS operation, which the Army, the Air Force, the Navy and the UME have been developing throughout the national territory.
The military, along with the Local Police and Civil Guard, carry out surveillance tasks of compliance with the house confinement decreed by the State of Alarm that we live, because of the health crisis caused by the coronavirus COVID-19.
The Mayor of Cehegín Alicia Del Amor has conveyed her gratitude to the military commanders and police forces for the magnificent work they have been doing to guarantee public health and safety.
