The good weather and the 'XII Tapa and Cocktail Route' make Cehegín the capital of regional gastronomy again.
In addition, this weekend, with the added value of the Craft Market 'El Mesoncico', dedicated to Carnival, which attracted dozens of visitors.
From the Tourist Office they highlight the presence of 2 buses from Alicante, on Saturday;
and another 4 on Sunday, with people from Petrer, Alicante and Almería.
Three hundred visitors who join the numerous families and groups of friends who filled the parking lots of the Plaza del Alpargatero and the Old Town with their cars.
The majority were from the Region (Murcia, Cartagena, Alcantarilla, La Alberca, Totana, Cieza ...).
There was also 'full' in the morning and afternoon visits to the '7 Wonders' of Cehegín and the Panoramic Bus.
The 'XII Route of the Tapa and the Cocktail' enters its final stretch and, if the forecasts are fulfilled, record of drinks and visits to the rich cultural heritage of the town will be broken.
The last weekend comes loaded with activities dedicated to Carnival for young and old and the last installment of the 'Kitchen with ...' cycle.
