The Tapa and Cocktail Route reaches its fourth weekend with a new activity, which will invite you to go outside and participate.
As of today, Friday, at noon, you can try the delicious tapas and cocktails in restaurants, pubs and cafes that participate in the route until Sunday night.
The twelfth edition of this gastronomic event is accompanied by different initiatives, in an incomparable setting such as Cehegín.
History, Culture, Heritage and Nature serve to complete this first level gastronomic experience.
Today Friday, February 14, the cycle 'Cooking with ....' has as protagonists the award-winning Ceheginean gymnasts, Ana María Agudo and Martina de Lorenzo and the chef Pedro Ignacio Pérez, of 'Restaurant La Muleta'.

The next day, Saturday, February 15, the El Mesoncico Market joins the Ruta de la Tapa and celebrates its edition dedicated to Carnival.The Plaza del Castillo will host this event, in which more than fifty artisans from the area will They will meet to offer their products, sausages, ceramics, sweets, soaps, wines, cheeses, etc., and where different traditions of the Northwest Region can be known each month.
In this case, the Carnival will be the protagonist of the Market and in it the attendees will be able to see how the traditional fried chocolate cakes are made and tasted.
In addition, the Hansel and Gretel House will be installed, there will be children's activities for the little ones and a children's costume contest will be held.
A parade and animation with the carnival rhythm of the batukada will also be held.
On Sunday, February 16, the visit to the 7 Wonders of Cehegín continues with wine tasting and sausages in the area at 11.30 am from the Tourist Office (reservations at the Tourist Office, 968723550 and 628408565);
and the Panoramic Bus (free) at 12.30 pm from the Plaza del Alpargatero.
