The Minister of the Presidency and Finance, Javier Celdrán, has a meeting with the ambassador of the Asian country in Spain, Ngo Tien Dung, to know the latest news about his situation

The regional government is making various efforts with diplomatic authorities, both Spanish and Vietnamese, to solve the situation of the Cehegín neighbor who has been held for a month in Vietnam and ensure that he can return to Spain as soon as possible.

The last of these efforts is the work meeting held today by the Minister of Presidency and Finance, Javier Celdrán, with the Vietnam Ambassador to Spain, Ngo Tien Dung, to learn about the latest developments on the situation of this neighbor of Cehegín.

"The fundamental objective is that your situation be resolved as soon as possible in a satisfactory way and that you can return home as soon as possible. You have to take into account that a judicial investigation is being carried out in that country, so we have to also be very respectful, "explained the Minister of Presidency and Finance.

This interview with the Vietnamese ambassador is part of the efforts being made by the regional government to clarify the situation, intensify diplomatic activity and facilitate his return.

Thus, and through the Ministry of the Presidency and the Treasury, since the case was known, various efforts have already been made both with the embassy of the Asian country in Madrid and with the General Directorate of Spanish Abroad and Consular Affairs, depending on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Minister of the Presidency and the Treasury recalled, however, that the regional government "has no competence in international relations.
