Next Friday, February 14, the programming of the Amateur Theater Contest “City of Cehegín” will continue, which reaches the XVII edition, organized by the Department of Culture, directed by Juan Martínez, and with which all attendees are enjoying of some works that go from drama to hot topics.
These are scheduled at 8:30 p.m. and are held at the "Adolfo Suárez" Cultural Center.
The young company Kreateatro, belonging to the Municipal Theater School of Cartagena, whose fundamental vocation is the creation of shows, with risky content and aesthetics, will go on stage this Friday to perform the play "The Unfinished Comedy", in which " a theater director decides to stage a theatrical production, in a time of crisis.
The author is going to interrupt the performance and from the first moment he announces to the spectators that there will be neither comedy nor theater, because the situation of the street of hunger and necessity means that it is not coherent to make the comedy ”.
On the other hand, on Saturday, February 15, the Adolfo Suárez Cultural Center will host the last performance of this event by the theater group “Nine Musas Producciones”, with the play, “Crisálida, el Musical”.
A “story that covers the issue of transsexuality from a real prism, told through a love relationship and in which music becomes the core of this work, thus putting a soundtrack into a musical format that will leave imprint on the viewer ”.
