The mayor of Cehegín, Alicia del Amor, and the First Deputy Mayor, Jerónimo Moya has appeared before the media to respond to the press conference that, yesterday, gave the spokesman of the Municipal Socialist Group in the City of Cehegín , José Rafael Rocamora.
It was related to the request made by the municipal PSOE to hold a call for an Extraordinary Plenary in which the four points of the Agenda are collected that were pending debate at the regular session held last Friday, 31 January.
Relating, all of them, to the extrajudicial recognition of credit to enable the payment of several invoices to suppliers, arguing that "it is a shame that the current government, formed by the Popular Party and Citizens, gave, in the past full, priority to other issues that they are not so important for the municipality of Cehegín ".
Given these manifestations, from the Government Team, it has been explained "that this is once again a palette of the socialist party, a new and spooky episode of a party that not only has not accepted that it is in the opposition, but also has the unwilling to demand that we solve their nonsense. "
"The past full, they have specified, had 23 points on the Agenda, 10 points corresponding to allegations regarding the approval of the Municipal Organic Regulation and then four points of Extrajudicial Credit Recognition, that is, when expenses are made without money to pay the bills. "
To this plenary session, they have continued to point out "they took four records of expenses without credit of the years 2018 and 2019, that is, invoices kept in the drawer for a year and a half, orders that were made to suppliers, the Socialist Government being aware that there was no money to pay them. And when that happens, there is no choice but to go to an out-of-court credit recognition, to recognize that the work has been done and that the payment obligation exists, and thus recognize the expense and be able to pay. "
"Well, they have continued arguing, we find that they did the Study Classroom, and did not pay the 22,000 euros they owed; that they made the Patron Saint Festivities and left more than 41,000 euros owed; or the Day Center, with 36,000 euros of debt in a building whose service management is awarded to a company. "
