Great weekend lived on the second date of the Ruta de la Tapa and the Cehegún Cocktail.
A statement confirming the figures collected in bars, cafes, confectionery and Tourist Offices.
The good weather and, above all, the interesting hotel and tourist offer have led to the municipality of the Northwest region having been visited, last weekend, by hundreds of people from different parts of the Region and bordering areas.
Many groups have arrived by bus - and the Plaza del Alpargatero were counted up to 6- and others, in private vehicles that refilled the parking lots.
In addition, many of the visitors stayed in Cehegín all weekend, occupying 70% of the rural houses in the urban area and surroundings.
Another figure that stands out is the half thousand people who passed through the Tourist Office installed in the Plaza del Alpargatero, and located in the historic area.
Not forgetting the routes of the '7 Wonders' and the Panoramic Bus.
And the consequence, of course, was noticed in the kitchens of the 22 participating establishments that sold all their tapas and cocktails.
Now, there is a new weekend with interesting and varied parallel activities like a new Friday of 'Cooking with ...';
concert on the Gran Vía;
and Art + Tasting at the School of Wine.
