The Palace of the Tertiary of Cehegín will host tomorrow, Saturday, January 25, at 12:00 hours, the inauguration of the XII Tapas Route and the Cehegín Cocktail.
The Mayor of Cehegín, Alicia del Amor, the Councilor for Tourism, María Dolores Agudo and the President of the Association of Commerce and Hospitality of Cehegín, María José Sánchez, will be responsible for kicking off this new edition, which It will have an exceptional guest, the famous Murcian chef, Pablo González Conejero, of Cabaña Buenavista, who has held two Michelin Stars for many years, being in the elite of national and international cuisine.
Let us remember that this Route will be held on weekends between January 25 and February 23 and in this edition it has a total of 22 participating establishments, 16 bars and restaurants and 6 pubs and coffee shops.
The cover or cocktail plus consumption will cost 2.50 euros.
Quality is a hallmark, as these same tapas and selected cocktails already achieved in December the 'remarkable high' by a specialized jury.
In addition, this year, taking advantage of the fact that Cehegín is the First Rural Wonder of Spain, the Hospitality Board and the Department of Tourism and Commerce will take advantage of this event to promote the rich architectural heritage of the town.
The gastronomic route, organized jointly by the City Council and the Association, is joined by a series of events and activities that increase the attractiveness for the many people who visit the town during the weekends covered by the event.
That is why there will be news such as the Panoramic Routes by bus and the Routes through the Manor Houses with wine tasting, the so-called "Visit the 7 Wonders of Cehegín ..."
Solidarity Day, music-culinary activities at the School of Wine and the 'Kitchen with ...' space in which local characters with hoteliers from the route will participate are repeated.
This weekend the activities parallel to this Route begin and, tonight, at the School of Wine, the opening of the exhibition "History of a winery" will take place, a tribute to the García Noguerol Family that, for decades, It has been one of the most important winemakers in the city.
On Saturday will take place the activity Visit the 7 Wonders of Cehegín, which will be permanent during all weekends and where visitors can enjoy different routes through Cehegín.
It will be at 11:30.
Visitors can also contemplate Cehegín with the initiative "Panoramic visit of Cehegín", at 12:30 from the Plaza del Alpargatero.
At 17:30 on the Gran Vía the Warsaw concert will take place and, at 20:30 hours, the Wine School will host the activity "Music and Wine", which has sold out tickets for this edition.
On Sunday, January 26, we will have the Antiques and Second Hand Fair, in the Ginés Ibáñez Park, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the activities of the 7 Wonders of Cehegín and the Panoramic Visit for the municipality.
