The mayor of Cehegín, Alicia del Amor, has attended today the presentation of the project "Murcia 2020, Spanish capital of Gastronomy", which has taken place at the Romea Theater, and in which representatives of the 45 Murcia municipalities for the coordination of joint actions to be carried out on the occasion of this event.
The mayor, José Ballesta, the Minister of Tourism, Youth and Sports, María Cristina Sánchez, and the president of the Spanish Capital of Gastronomy, Mariano Palacín;
in whose act the corporate identity has been presented and has realized the offer of participation to the municipalities of the Region.
Each of the municipalities of Murcia will participate in this celebration, with 45 exclusive gastronomic days.
In the office, operating 365 days a year at the Romea Theater, hundreds of events will be held, such as workshops, showcookings, idea forums and culinary exhibitions of chefs of national and international prestige.
The MasterChef television program will visit the capital of the Region on January 27 and 28.
