The Councilors of Works and Services and Sports, Pedro Lorencio and José Antonio Zafra, respectively, have reported that "from the City Council two healthy itineraries have been enabled for urban sports, a proposal designed for all those neighbors who dare to go out to walk through the town, using the most frequented streets for this sport. In this way, sport, leisure and interpersonal relationships come together. It is definitely about promoting physical health, immersed in our old town and the sensations it transmits. "
Thanks to a grant of 9,175.95 euros granted by the Ministry of Tourism, Youth and Sports, through the General Directorate of Sports, the ceheginerial session has made a healthy itinerary through the Old Town and another through the Ginés Ibáñez Park.
The work has been done by the ceheginero businessman José Luis Robles Sánchez.
The first one is an urban tour through the most significant and representative streets of the Historic Artistic Complex of the Old Town of Cehegín, which consists of 4.03 km, where you can visit the most unique and important squares, monuments and buildings of the Set.
The other is a circular route through the interior of the Ginés Ibáñez Park, with paving of land, and a length of 6 km.
In addition, the project has also included the incorporation of several gymnastics machines for outdoor sports.
