The City of Cehegín, through the Department of Works and Services, directed by Pedro Lorencio, continues its work of replacing those critical points of the drinking water network, especially those referring to the districts;
specifically Cañada de Canara, Campillo de los Jiménez, Algezares, El Cabezo and some scattered.
On this occasion, the Consistory has replaced a PVC pipe 110mm in diameter with a 290-meter long and 200mm diameter in the section that starts at the end of the Gran Vía and runs along the Torrecica road.
These works have a cost of about 48,000 euros and have been contributed by the General Directorate of Water of the Region of Murcia, The councilor explained that "this Government Team is aware of the great needs in maintenance works as well as expansion and Infrastructure modernization not visible.
In this line we are working to improve the municipality's water network, acting at singular points that cause problems.
