From the Department of Works and Services and Environment, directed by Pedro Lorencio and Juan Martínez, respectively, it has been reported that, yesterday, an action was carried out on Mount 36 of the Public Utility Catalog, Sierra de Burete, specifically in an area next to the recreational area of ​​La Asomadilla, in which, and in collaboration with the General Directorate of Natural Environment of the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Environment of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, a spill of fiber cement plates (uralite) was removed.
The work was carried out by an authorized company due to the danger posed by this type of waste due to its asbestos content.
Specifically, we proceeded to collect the waste that was distributed in an area of ​​approximately 1,500 square meters, arriving to collect 5 Big-Bag bags of 1 m3, with a total of 1,100 kg.
