The police operation called “CARRAMAR” has been carried out thanks to the close collaboration between the police officers of both Bodies.

The marijuana plantation now dismantled was discovered by agents of the investigation area of ​​the Civil Guard of Caravaca de la Cruz, who days ago located a house in the ceheginera district of La Carrasquilla, where presumably an indoor plantation was located of marijuana sativa, communicating the finding to the Ceheg�n Local Police Headquarters.

Local agents and civil guard established a discrete surveillance device, in order to find out who or who were responsible for the illegal plantation, verifying that the house was uninhabited, although it was visited periodically by several individuals who were in charge of caring for it.

Last Thursday, December 5, once the identity of the people who were in the care of the crop was verified, as well as that they were performing cutting tasks of the plants, the police officers proceeded to arrest three men, neighbors from the town of Murcia, aged between 19 and 23, as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health, proceeding to the intervention of planting and dismantling of lighting, heating and ventilation systems, seizing cannabis plants in total of 80 copies, as well as effects related to the handling and preparation of the plant substance.

According to police sources the value of the drug intervened in the black market could exceed 25,000 euros.

The Councilor for Citizen Security Jer�nimo Moya has expressed his satisfaction for the result of this police operation, congratulating both local police officers and civil guard agents for services to citizens and in particular for the success of this operation Thanks to the close collaboration of both bodies.

The detainees, the proceedings carried out by the Investigation Group of the Civil Guard of Caravaca and Local Police of Ceheg�n, together with the drugs and intervened tools have been made available to the Court of Guard of Caravaca de la Cruz.
