The Department of Police and Public Safety, directed by Jerónimo Moya, reports that four agents of the Local Police of Cehegín have completed a training course in which they have received theoretical and practical classes to obtain the license of drone pilot and radio operator.
The course has been taught in accordance with the criteria and requirements established by the State Air Safety Agency (AESA), which regulates, among other aspects, the knowledge necessary to fly this type of aircraft.
To obtain the title of Advanced Pilot of Drone + Radiophonist, which allows them to pilot the most advanced drones, students have passed the theoretical and practical exams, as well as the specific medical tests indicated by the State Agency for Air Safety.
The drones are part of the Citizen Security Plan that the Cehegín Local Police and Civil Protection of Cehegín started this year.
This latest technology tool is used to improve public safety, surveillance and detection of the cultivation of narcotic substances, prevent theft in the fields, search for lost people or in fires.
