The Department of Commerce and Tourism, which directs María Dolores Agudo reports that Cehegín's 'XII Tapas and Cocktail Route' begins its countdown.
It will be held from January 25 to February 23 and, this week, a jury has assessed, at the School of Wine, the gastronomic delights presented by the bars, restaurants, confectionery and pubs of the town.
This year, the Association of Commerce and Hospitality has brought together chefs Tomás Écija, Cundi Sánchez (Chiefs of Kitchen and managers of 'El Albero' and 'La Maita') and José Luis Montañez (currently working at the ONCE restaurant in Murcia and is a catering consultant).
Also to the plastic artist Nicolás de Maya;
and the president of the Association of local merchants, Mari José Sánchez.
All agreed to highlight the 'high level' and the 'plasticity' of tapas and cocktails;
many of them made with local products combined with innovative details.
In the next few days, the Cehegín Hotel Board will inform on who will make the poster announcing the 'XII Tapa and Cocktail Route'.
Likewise, remind all cehegineros and cehegineras that there is an official website of the route in which all the news will be published.
