This has been presented in Murcia today the Minister of Tourism, Youth and Sports of the Region of Murcia, María Cristina Sánchez López;
the mayor of Cehegín, Alicia del Amor, and the President of the Quípar Sports Club, Bartolome Javier Guirado.
Also present were the Councilor for Sports of the City of Cehegín, José Antonio Zafra, as well as different members of the Quípar Sports Club.
An emblematic event already on the trail organized by the Club Deportivo Quípar, in which the tests held in the last edition have been maintained -which also witnessed the V Spanish Championship of Absolute Trail and Master-, also incorporating a “Promo†of 11km., Especially designed for those who are starting on the Trail Running or Hiking.
The Sierra del Quipar and the Sierra de Burete will be the scene of Faclotrail 2019, which will host more than 1000 participants from much of the national territory and from different European countries (United Kingdom, Netherlands, Russia, Norway, Estonia, France, Hungary , ...).
Among the main novelties that the test presents this year, apart from the incorporation of the new 11km distance, is that the start and finish returns to Cehegin's Plaza de España with its impressive Roman Arch as in 2017.
But in addition, the Quípar Sports Club together with the collaboration of the City of Cehegin and its Department of Sports, has also launched for that day a test that aims to be a quarry for new runners and also serve as a tool to spend a good day with the family while doing sports.
It is the “Falquitoâ€, to which all those born between 2004 and 2016 can be registered, in three categories: children, primary and secondary.
