The councilor of Festejos y Medio Ambiente, Juan Martínez, and the company Ecovidrio have presented the award to 'Los Sarretazos' as the barracks that recycled more glass during the campaign 'La Peña Recicla' carried out during the past Patronal Festivities 2019.
According to data provided by Manuel Sala, Ecovidrio area technician, the party people recycled a total of 1302 kg.

According to the latest data for 2018, cehegineros and cehegineras recycled a total of 374,770 kilograms of glass, which means that each inhabitant recycled on average 24.9 kg.
Regarding the rate of containerization, Cehegín stands with an average of 127 inhabitants per container, with a total of 118 igloos for waste glass containers installed.
