The Councilor for Commerce and Tourism, María Dolores Agudo, has presented the program "Autumn Tardeo", an initiative designed by her council, with the collaboration of the Association of Commerce and Hospitality of Cehegín, which will begin this Saturday, 2 November.
A month full of activities, which will focus on the weekend, to boost the commerce and hospitality of the municipality, "with the intention of making it one of the tourist poles of the region."
Every weekend there will be activities, music, guided tours of our historic center, gastronomy, and many surprises, “with the intention of offering the cehegineros and all those who visit us the possibility of enjoying a complete and varied program of activities "
In the field of hospitality, every weekend, there will be a tasting at the price of two euros, tapa + cane, in the bars and restaurants of Cehegín.
In total, so far, these establishments participate: La Parada, El Sol Restaurant, My Tasca, Casino Café, Casas Matías Restaurant, La Lonja, Gran Vía Bar, Borneo Bar (from November 19), Palacio de La Tercia, El Rincón de Pedro, Union Bar, Lucio Restaurant, Marina Modern Coffee Bar and Domingo Bar.
The gastronomic program will continue as follows:
NOVEMBER 2 AND 3 - CROQUETS OF DIFFERENT FLAVORS AND VARIETIES.
NOVEMBER 9 AND 10 - BUÑUELOS DE BACALAO
NOVEMBER 16 AND 17 - STUFFED PIQUILLO PEPPERS
NOVEMBER 23 AND 24 - SEASON COVER (MUSHROOMS)
NOVEMBER 30 AND DECEMBER 1 - MICHIRONES
Pastry shops will also advance Christmas and you can taste the most typical sweets of this era.
These are the participants: Tucao, Motolite and Confectionery Noguerol.
At the same time, enter this initiative the bars, pubs and coffee shops, where you can enjoy the evening of the gin and tonic, with a special elaboration in each of the participating sites.
The confirmed ones to date are the following: Key Pub, Transit Pub, Molino Cafe, Molokay, Gavanna, London Blue and Melody and Pub Ibiza
All this enlivened with musical and monologuistic performances, which will rotate through the different premises throughout the month.
The mayor has also explained that "throughout the month will be organized guided tours both day and night, through our old town, to show all that our people can offer the visitor."
In the coming days, all the detailed information about this program will be posted on the municipal website, and every weekend, the activities that will take place will be promoted.
"Our goal, he said, is to relaunch the image of our municipality and take advantage of the opportunity offered by the prize as the first Rural Wonder of Spain 2019, to become a tourist reference, not only during this year, but in the future."
