The mayor of Cehegín, Alicia del Amor, has met today with the Delegate of Defense in the Region of Murcia, the Captain of the Ship, José Ignacio Martí Scharfhausen, within the rounds of institutional visits that he has been maintaining with different Mayors of the Region.
In the same, the head of the Ministry of Defense offered to the first mayor, among other matters, the possibility of hosting any of the traveling exhibitions that the General Subdirectorate of Publications and Cultural Heritage of this department organizes throughout Spain on various topics, basically international peace missions, in order to bring the Armed Forces closer to civil society.
Madrid's Martí Scharfhausen, in the Army since 1979, has been chief of flight safety for the aircraft fleet, chief of communications and radio stations of the Strait, has been stationed in the General Staff of the Navy, in the Arsenal Military of Cartagena, in Shape in Mons (Belgium) and in the headquarters of the Navy's logistics support.
There are four crosses to naval merit, one to aeronautical merit and the cross and commission of the Royal and Military Order of San Hermengildo.
