Raise awareness among citizens of the importance of prevention and offer information about breast cancer are some of the objectives of the activities that will take place in Cehegín next week, organized by the Local Board of the Association Spanish Against Cancer with the collaboration of the Department of Education, Women and Equality;
and Commerce, directed by Mónica Sánchez and María Dolores Agudo, respectively, as well as the Cehegín Trade Association.
In this way, the President of the Local Board of this group, Isidro de la Ossa, and the President of the Trade Association, María José Sánchez, have been presented to the media.
The events will begin this Wednesday, October 16, at 10:00 a.m., with the installation of an information point and sale of solidarity items in the Weekly Market where pink shirts and glasses will also be sold, the color that symbolizes the fight against this sickness.
That day, also at the same time, Skulls Lady Tatto and Gallery will install a stand where they will report on the "Solidarity Tattoo".
On Friday, October 18, and starting at 6:00 p.m., the Solidarity March will take place, which will begin in the Plaza del Mesoncico, and in which all participants will wear pink clothes and t-shirts.
At the end of it, a manifesto will be read.
That same day, in the Young Space, at 20:30 hours, there will be a talk given by Mariana Pérez Almagro that will be entitled "Repairing tattoo, end of a stage".
In addition to these activities, the local Secondary Institutes will receive talks about the functioning of the Local Board of the Fight Against Cancer, what it is and the different initiatives that it implements throughout the year.
And as a climax to these activities, the I Showcase Contest "Cehegín en Rosa" will be launched, an initiative aimed at the shops of Cehegín, between October 14 and 20, participate staining their rose establishments on the occasion of the commemoration of World Breast Cancer Day.
The deadline to register will be until October 14.
