The ceheginero painter, Paco Fernández, has turned all his creative ingenuity in the exhibition entitled La Visita, which opened yesterday at the Archaeological Museum of Cehegín.
An activity prior to the programming of the Patron Festivities, which had a large audience and with the assistance of the mayor of Cehegín, Alicia del Amor;
Juan Martínez, Councilor for Culture, members of the Government Team and Municipal Corporation.
In addition, the Director of Cultural Assets of the Region of Murcia, Juan Antonio Lorca, was present, since this exhibition is included in the Network of Exhibition Spaces of our Community;
and the Director of the Archaeological Museum of Cehegín, Francisco Peñalver.
The Visit is a project designed to value the Casa de las Boticarias, which is a noble house located in the historic center of our city.
This property has been closed to the public for more than three decades.
The artistic function of this project is to capture the beauty that lives in the ruins, in the uninhabited, to catch the passage of time and return it to the town of Cehegín.
Re-open the house to the public, with the optical illusion as an ally trying to satisfy the need for artistic communication produced by the knowledge of the state in which some of these heritage, which are great witnesses of our history.
This project extracts from the interior of the House of Boticaries its essence to be presented to the public through an artistic installation on its facade and an exhibition with all the plastic work generated throughout the development of this project.
The exhibited work can be seen in the Archaeological Museum of Cehegín from September 5 to October 27, 2019.
