The mayor of Cehegín, Alicia del Amor, received Ceheginero José de Moya Moreno at the Town Hall today, on the occasion of the recent decoration, the "Golden Torch for Peace", which has been granted to him, UNESCO, through its Center for Training in Human Rights, World Citizenship and Culture of Peace.
They wanted to congratulate him publicly for this award that has been given to him for "his excellent and continuous work in the field of Civil Protection, with emphasis on the tasks of emergency and underwater rescue".
We remember that, since September 8, 1983, José de Moya Moreno, is the Director of Civil Protection of Cehegín, where he also directs the body of Underwater Rescue, dependent on the General Directorate of Emergencies of the Autonomous Community of Murcia .
And it has to its credit, among others, the European Gold Medal for Merit at Work, the Cross for Police Merit, the Medal of Sports Merit, the Grand Cross of Human Rights and Police and Military Intervention and the Grand Monarchical Cross of Spain .
