The Department of Culture, directed by Juan Martínez García, has reported that next Thursday, July 18, at 8:00 pm, a conference will be given at the Archaeological Museum of Cehegín by Dr. D. Miguel Ángel Mateo Saura, which will address the problematic of Rock Art in the Region of Murcia, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Miguel Ángel Mateo Saura is a Doctor in Prehistory and Archeology.
Full member of the Institute of Albacete Studies "don Juan Manuel".
Founder and director between 2004 and 2008 of the scientific journal "Cuadernos de Arte Rupestre".
He has developed several research projects on rock art in the Region of Murcia and the province of Albacete.
Author of several books and more than a hundred articles, published in national and international scientific journals.
