The councilors of Youth and Environment of the City council of Cehegín, José Antonio Zafra and Juan Martínez, respectively, have maintained these days a meeting with a group of boys and girls of the locality which have started an activity directed to clean up all the garbage that There may be in different environments of the municipality.
This group has the name of My Clean World and some 20 boys and girls from Cehegín are part of it and they are joined by the one who, at first, all belong to the Conde de Campillos school in the town;
although, as they point out, anybody can join this platform.
For this, they have a facebook page with the mentioned name and at the same time they have created an email mimundolimpio.cehegin@gmail.com, to which all interested people can go.
The idea arose, as they have explained, when, one of its members, saw certain dirt in different enclaves of the town each time that it left to stroll.
There he came up with the initiative to involve the rest of his colleagues who, together, could devote part of their time to clean certain sites of Cehegín that were in poor condition.
The councilors have shown their congratulations and support to this initiative that "is a way to raise awareness about the world around us, to educate them in good habits, while, for them, it is a form of motivation that they develop and inculcate their peers. "
From this first meeting held the councilors have explained that they will be shown institutional support so that their situation can be regulated by the City Council in some way and thus can be organized in a more appropriate way, informing them of the sites they could access and providing them with to carry out.
In this sense, José Antonio Zafra, Councilor for Youth has pointed out that "I have already spoken with a hotel supply company, specifically, Sumicoop, so that, in a selfless way, provide this group with free materials to carry out their activity" .
