The Javier Miñano Soccer Campus has started its march in this its seventh edition.
This is one of the most important base football sports projects in the Region of Murcia.
Each year it gathers more than 150 children from the different municipalities that make up the Northwest region, as well as from other points in the Region of Murcia and the Valencian Community.
The mayor of Cehegín, Alicia del Amor, accompanied by the councilors of the consistory, Jerónimo Moya, José Antonio Zafra and Juan Martínez, have made the inauguration that has also had the presence of the founder of this Campus, former physical coach of the Spanish National Team of Soccer, and Adoptive Son of the locality, Javier Miñano.
As explained, "the Campus works with the objective of educating through sports and instilling values ​​such as respect, companionship or competitiveness." For this the Campus team, composed of coaches, instructors and assistants, works with the same enthusiasm and enthusiasm as the first time for the children to live an unforgettable experience. "
The Javier Miñano Campus was born as a family idea and it continues to be that way.
Currently has about 150 children.
This is why the campus works on the concept of family and its main objective is to inculcate values ​​and educate through the example and practice of football.
The VI Campus Javier Miñano has the sponsorship of the City Council of Cehegín and the Department of Sports of the City Council of Cehegín.
