The City Council of Cehegin has received a decision to grant a grant from the Leader Program, to continue acting in the works of the Plaza de Abastos.
Specifically, it is an aid of 113,000 euros that will be allocated to the internal adaptation of part of the upper floor of the municipal building to house a center for the promotion of trade and crafts
The head of the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries has informed the Governing Council of the approval of aid for a total amount of 401,936 euros to eight municipalities to finance projects that promote actions within the framework of the Rural Development Program of the Region .
The approved applications, within the Participatory Local Development Strategy of the Local Action Group 'Integral, society for rural development', are intended for nine actions in different municipalities, including Cehegín.
All projects have an execution period of 24 months.
The actions are framed in two lines of aid, that of the 'Paisea' program, for the recovery and efficient and sustainable use of rural, natural and landscape heritage, and that of the 'Cerca de ti' program, for the improvement of services and the quality of life in rural areas.
