The Popular Party of Cehegín held yesterday the first meeting of the three that has prepared for this campaign.
During the first days the team of Alicia del Amor has toured the streets of Cehegín and its districts.
The social premises of the San Antonio neighborhood were filled to listen to the proposals of the Popular Party of Cehegín for the next four years.
The meeting was attended by Pedro Lorencio, n ° 3 of the candidacy, Sergio López, General Director of FP and Special Education, and Alicia del Amor, candidate for the mayor of Cehegín.
Pedro Lorencio, in his speech, recalled that the PSOE promised that the La Verja factory would not be thrown away and would turn it into an employment center.
"Today there is only a gap and debris, metaphor of welcome to this town."
Lorencio said.
He also noted that the actions carried out by the socialist government in these four years are the result of the management carried out by the PP in the City Council in its last term of office and in the Region of Murcia.
For his part, Sergio Lopez reviewed the policy that the Popular Party has carried out in the Region of Murcia in employment and education.
Lopez recalled that the Ministry of Education has invested in several projects within Cehegín as the sports track of the Conde de Campillos school, the installation of heating in the schools of Canara and Valentin, the sports court cover of the IES Vega del Argos and the implementation of the trade FP module.

The candidate of the Popular Party to the mayor of Cehegín stressed that the neighborhood of San Antonio is very important for her, since, has incorporated up to four people from this neighborhood in his candidacy: María José de Maya, n ° 2 of the candidacy, Pedro Lorencio, n ° 3 of the candidacy, José Víctor Boluda, n ° 7 of the candidacy, and Juan Sánchez, n ° 14 of the candidacy.
Del Amor exposed the proposals of the PP for Cehegín and pointed out the concrete proposals for the neighborhood of San Antonio as for example the integral reform of Begastri Street, one of the main arteries of Cehegín.
Del Amor ended his speech by reflecting: "Think for a moment if it has been useful to vote in a split in the last general elections, only for the left to rule." Think of the only authentic center-right party that has demonstrated who knows how to do things well is the Popular Party. "
