The Popular Party of Cehegín has made a positive assessment after the debate among the candidates for the mayoralty of Cehegín held yesterday at the Cultural Center "Adolfo Suárez".
The debate, which was moderated by Julio Antonio Díaz, was a great one for and managed to fill all the seats.
Alicia del Amor Galo wielded the electoral program of the Popular Party of Cehegín, a program focused on the person and to get out of the stalemate in which Cehegín is after the four years of PSOE government.
In her speeches the candidate of the Cehegín PP showed that she is determined and prepared to govern with her team.
Del Amor has shown that the lack of transparency of the City of Cehegín has been a constant throughout this term.
Adjudications "by finger" by councilors of the government team, self-publishing of a book by a councilor, biased information on the municipal transparency website with delays in updating it.
These are some examples that the PP candidate exposed during his speech in the transparency block.
In the social welfare block, Del Amor is committed to work and to the creation of the councils for the Family and the Elderly.
"Through these new councils we will work for the creation of a residence with sheltered housing and a new day center."

In terms of economy and employment, the Popular Party of Cehegín wants to strengthen the traditional sectors.
In addition, it will continue betting on the development of the Salt Water Polygon and with subsidies and bonus rates for companies that want to settle in Cehegín.
For infrastructures the Alica del Amor proposes the remodeling of the Plaza de Abastos to turn it into a gastronomercado with spaces to promote local commerce.
Also the remodeling and conditioning of the main arteries of the municipality as well as the conservation and modernization of streets and squares of the Historic District, fundamental for the development of tourism in Cehegín.
"My main objective in this project was to listen to each one of the neighbors of Cehegín and with your voice, needs and projects build a Cehegín better supported on the pillars of courage, progress and enthusiasm."
