Jerónimo Moya, candidate of Citizens to the Mayor of Cehegín, said that "it is one of the main arteries of the municipality, which has been abandoned for years by the governments of PP and PSOE"
The spokesman and head of list of Citizens to the City of Cehegín, Jerónimo Moya, has announced that Ciudadanos is marked as a priority for the next legislature the comprehensive reform of Begastri Street.
"The neighbors have been demanding for years a solution to the unfortunate situation in which this street is located.
The solution to the problems of circulation of vehicles and pedestrians that presents this avenue, happens to turn it into a one-way street, in the direction of the San Antonio neighborhood, "said Moya.
In this sense, the orange training candidate has indicated that he will hold a public hearing to give voice to the neighbors in the new configuration of this area.
"The reform would mean the renewal of the firm;
sewerage and other services that require it;
expansion of sidewalks;
provision and renovation of urban furniture and lighting;
and the provision along the street of appropriately marked parking lots, with the purpose of improving the safety and comfort of pedestrians and drivers ".
The candidate for the Mayor's Office of Cehegín has also announced that the study carried out by Ciudadanos determines the feasibility of this proposal in terms of mobility of the vehicles.
"In the sense of the old La Verja factory, Begastri street, Calle del Arrón and Calle Velázquez may be used in its incorporation to San Agustín street.
And to access the city center you can use, depending on the destination, the streets San Agustín, Cuesta del Olivar, José Márquez street or Alfonso X el Sabio street, to name a few.
All with the aim of improving safety and comfort for neighbors and drivers. "
