Citizens has uprooted the commitment of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Adela Martínez-Cacha, that next week will begin work on the repair of the sports center track CEIP Conde de Campillos de Cehegín, which has been closed because He finds himself in a deplorable state.
Citizens has appropriated 50,000 euros in regional budgets this year for the installation to be carried out.
Juan José Molina, regional deputy of Citizens, has revealed that during the Commission of Education and Culture of the Regional Assembly, Martinez-Cachá has announced that the tender for the work has already been carried out and that the concessionaire is carrying out the plan of security, "so everything will be ready so that next week the works will begin".
Molina has indicated "that we requested the presence of the Minister of Education, given that the works have not yet begun.
The confirmation that they will start next week seems like great news because for more than 20 years the educational community of the CEIP Conde de Campillos has demanded the arrangement of this facility so that the students of the center can practice sports in decent conditions ".
In this sense, Citizens requested in the Regional Assembly the realization of a school infrastructure map to establish an order of priorities when acting in each school, according to the needs of the center in order to prevent arbitrary actions so that situations like the one of the sports track of the CEIP Count of Campillos that has been in a situation of absolute abandonment for more than two decades do not occur.
