The Government Team of the City of Cehegín, led by the socialist José Rafael Rocamora, shows that, in these years of government are achieving the objectives that were proposed in 2015.

Thus, say socialist sources, are working since the beginning of the legislature with much effort for the poor economic conditions found fruit of the disastrous management of the previous government of the PP, in the generation of employment, getting that, to this day, Cehegín has a greater number of important companies that are already generating jobs, as well as others that are finishing building their facilities or adapting municipal buildings and which will also be new sources of employment.

Thus, there are already twenty contracts of municipal ownership ships formalized with companies and the sale of four plots of industrial land in the Agua Sallada Polygon.

All this, as they say from the PSOE, is thanks to the great effort and work of the Government Team and its good predisposition for the companies, and also to the elaboration and implementation of new aid of the Industrial Development Plan thanks to which they place Cehegín as the most competitive destination in the Region of Murcia for the installation of new industries, the Aid for Trade Plan, SMEs and Self-Employed, or the Business Incubator, among others.

In addition, from the Department of Employment and Economic Promotion have launched, for the first time in Cehegín, the Local Employment Plan, having already made three calls thereof, which added to the rest of employment programs, show a figure of more than two million euros managed and the realization of more than 270 hiring people.

Another measure taken by the Socialists from the Municipal Government is the preparation and recent implementation of the Strategic Plan for Agriculture, in order to strengthen this sector and help in its promotion, despite not having the skills to do so. .

Socialists say that "it was and remains a priority to put all possible municipal resources to help improve the economy of the municipality."

To do this and also in order to diversify Ceheginera economy, from the consistory have opted for the remodeling of the Plaza de Abastos, to turn it into a real center of modernization of trade, with new and appropriate facilities for the Association of Commerce and Hospitality of Cehegín.

In addition, as the project indicates, the School of Hospitality and Tourism of the Northwest will be installed on the upper floor, as a benchmark training center in the sector.

Finally, they indicate from the socialist government that Cehegín is nowadays a more modern municipality: "We bet for the transparency and nowadays we are the 5th most transparent municipality of the Region of Murcia, between the great city councils and surpassing to municipalities like Murcia and Lorca ".

And as firm commitment to a more efficient Cehegín, working with cleaner energy, we are finishing making the change of luminaries throughout the municipality to LED technology, a fact that, in addition to providing better night vision, is a saving, both energetic and of CO2 emissions to the atmosphere, as a saving, that already in this first year, will be more than 250,000 euros to the municipal coffers.

Socialists say that "all this has been possible with a lot of work and effort despite the very serious economic situation and the unforeseen circumstances, such as the collapse of Pabellón Loli de Gea, while we have lowered the municipal debt by 3 million euros. euros and without raising even one euro the municipal taxes ".

Finally, they comment that "there is still a long way to go, but without a doubt we can affirm that the measures adopted put our municipality on the right path, so we will continue working tirelessly on this line for the future of Cehegín."
