The Popular Party of Cehegín has demanded the resignation of the councilman of Works and Services and Contracting, Ismael Abellán, before the gravity of the facts gathered in the recordings that in the last days have spread regarding the hiring of cleaning services.
The spokeswoman for the Municipal People's Group, María Dolores Carrasco, accompanied by the other members of the same group, affirmed that "given the gravity of the events that have been heard in the recordings, precisely at this time when the political class advocates the regeneration and transparency and in which the different parties have established levels and limits, they must be equal for all and we can not allow these actions, "they said.
The popular ones have remembered the case of the popular councilman of the City council of Murcia Roque Ortiz and the position that maintained the PSRM in that moment after coming to light some recordings, and they have reiterated that "the limits have to be equal for all".
They have also called attention to the grievance for the public coffers that has involved the hiring of two people linked to the local PSOE, as they have increased the cost of cleaning time by more than 50% compared to what had been charging other companies , and this is recognized in the recording.
On the other hand the spokesman of the Municipal People's Group wanted to clarify the reason why the councilors of the group left the plenary session last Friday just when the mayor took the floor after all spokesmen had used their two shifts.
From the Popular Party have explained that the departure of the plenary session of the popular councils occurred "before a clear abuse of power of the mayor who at the end of all shifts took the floor to intervene, as usual in this term, this fact so denounced on his part when he was in opposition, especially when this intervention was not the result of any need for explanation that emerged in the course of the debate but was premeditated and announced in advance by Mr. Abellán who already told the Cs spokesman that his way of acting was "ruin" for leaving the explanations for the last turn, but that he was going to go wrong the play ".
