The president of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura (CHS), Mario Urrea, met today for the first time with the mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora, to discuss matters of competence of the basin organization in the municipality.
Among the pending issues was the updating of the infrastructure catalog for which the CHS must pay the municipal IBI and the inclusion of the Argos reservoir has been reported.
Rocamora, in addition, has transmitted the possibility of using the areas surrounding the Argos River to develop recreational activities.
He has also raised demands on behalf of the irrigators of the region.
The president of the CHS has committed to studying these demands with transparency, legality and legal security, as well as to collaborate to solve problems from the most absolute institutional loyalty.
