The parish of Valentin is already immersed in the preparations for its Patron Saint Festivities in honor of San Juan Bautista, which will officially start next Sunday, June 23, the eve of the patron saint's day, with the wreath, the reading of the proclamation to position of Magdalena López Abril and the opening ceremony of the acts.
This was made public yesterday, the Commission of Celebrations, whose members presented before the media the full program of celebrations in the hall of the Old Church of Valentine.
The Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora and the Councilwoman of Celebrations, May Molina, as well as Jordi Arce, Councilman of Celebrations of the Municipality of Calasparra were present at the event.
Enclosures and exhibitions of wild cattle, religious acts, popular meals, parades, musical performances, children's games and fireworks are just some of the activities scheduled for these holidays.
