The Popular Party of Cehegín has announced that it is going to present a motion in the Town Hall to be debated in the Plenary with the purpose of expanding the facilities of the Virgen de las Maravillas Day Center, in order to attend to more people and also offer new services to users and their families.
From the Popular Party have shown "the need to expand the Day Center, which we launched during our mandate in 2011, to serve people who are now on the waiting list and even offer some additional services to improve the living conditions of the elderly and their families ", they have pointed out.
The 'popular' cehegineros have indicated that the current day center "was already projected with the expectation that a higher floor could be built later when necessary, and even in 2014, this possible expansion began to be studied. the current situation becomes more than necessary ".
Also from the Partido Popular ceheginero have said that "there are many families who need to take their elders to this center so that they can be cared for and accompanied on a daily basis by professionals who contribute to improve their quality of life as well as the one of the people that surround them, and from the administrations we have the obligation to give solution to these needs, "reason why we hoped that the city council is sensible and attends this demand", they have concluded.
