With the presentation of diplomas by José Rafael Rocamora, Mayor of Cehegín;
Alejandro Zamora López-Fuensalida, General Director of the Regional Employment and Training Service;
and Councilman Employment, Francisco Chico, has proceeded to the closing ceremony of the Joint Employment and Training Program "Conservation and improvement of gardens and municipal green areas", which has been developing for nine months in the town.
Organized by the City Council of Cehegín, in collaboration with the Regional Employment and Training Service, 15 people, under 30 years of age, have participated in it, which have improved their conditions of professional insertion in the labor market.
In this way, the beneficiaries have obtained the Certificate of Professionalism called "Auxiliary activities in nurseries, gardens and garden center", a certificate with a duration of 330 hours and where the students have learned to perform auxiliary operations for production and maintenance of plants in nurseries and garden centers, as well as for the installation and maintenance of gardens, parks and green areas.
The program has had a total cost of 123,410.73 euros and has been subsidized by the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia and co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Operational Youth Employment Program in 91.89%.
Through this program, which has lasted for 9 months, young people have performed numerous activities in green areas of the town, such as Ginés Ibáñez Park, Ródenas Garden, Puntarrón, Parterres de la Casa de la Música and the Cuartel de la Guardia Civil, in Begastri, Jardín del Coso, Javier Miñano Municipal Sports Center or the new garden of C / Mula in the San Antonio neighborhood, among others.
Councilman Employment, Francisco Chico, wanted to congratulate the participants in the program and stressed that "with employment and training programs like this we put our young people in a more favorable position in view of their possible entry into the labor market "
In this regard the Councilor wanted to recall the local aid available to the City Council for self-employment, such as aid for the installation of companies in industrial estates, the Business Incubator, or the most recent aid for the promotion of trade , small businesses and autonomous people, which came into force last week.
For his part, the Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora commented that "this Government Team has managed more than one million euros in training and I would like to emphasize, in this sense, and in what we are now dealing with, the importance of training Our young people in unconventional sectors, I am sure that, through qualification in these jobs, through this Certificate of Professionalism they have acquired, they will have an opportunity to find a job for the future ".
