Yesterday, an amendment to the General Budgets of the State was debated in the Congress of Deputies to create a game to help the construction of the Cehegín Sports Pavilion that collapsed with the 2017 snowfall. The amendment has been presented by the deputies Murcia of the PSOE, María González Veracruz and Pedro Saura, which have regretted that Citizens and the Popular Party voted against this amendment.
Not only did this amendment affect the future of Cehegín, there was also another amendment that sought money to develop the so-called "Northwest Reindustrialization Plan" and that we Socialists have been presenting year after year.
This, in the same way, has been voted against by the Citizen and Popular groups.
The Deputy, Maria Gonzalez, has regretted this attitude of PP and C's, "you can not make a policy in Cehegín, another in Murcia and another in the Congress of Deputies" The Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora, thanked the initiative of the socialist group, to which it has stated, to thank it as representative of all the cehegineros, "for whatever the party that proposes such necessary help for Cehegín I will be grateful".
José Rafael, has asked the national groups of PP and C's to reconsider their position, to rescue that important amendment for Cehegín.
The Mayor also wanted to urge local groups to "urge their national groups to vote in favor of this measure on future occasions, as there will be."
Finally, the mayor wanted to reassure cehegineros and cehegineras, "although we receive no help, Cehegín will have its sports facilities"
