● The training proposes the creation of a regulation that regulates the independent and objective use of the media of public ownership
● "We are going to pay the inaction of PP and PSOE, and their interest in maintaining control of a public medium paid with the taxes of all the neighbors," says the local spokesman, Jernimo Moya
Ciudadanos has filed a motion requesting the creation of a regulation that clearly regulates the use of municipal media.
The proposal, which will be discussed at the next plenary session, wants to "open a serious and thoughtful debate about the municipal media, and its use in a plural and transparent way as a vehicle of truthful and objective information," according to the local spokesman, Jernimo Moya .
In his opinion, this regulation "becomes essential once we have known that the Labor Inspectorate has imposed a sanction of more than 85,000 euros to the City Council for the irregular situation in which since its creation, twelve years ago, He kept two workers from the municipal station. "
In an act dated on April 2, Labor condemns the payment of 85,460 euros and discharges workers retroactively.
"In the end the cehegineros will pay the passivity of the latest government teams, especially that of Mayor Rocamora, despite the fact that Ciudadanos has been denouncing this situation for three years," said Moya.
In addition to avoiding these situations and greater losses for the local treasury in the future, the regulation that proposes the orange training aims to guarantee the plurality and objectivity of the local media, especially Ms FM Begastri, which was awarded without a contract tender so that the service was provided by indirect management, and was not provided by direct management, since there was no offer of public employment or employment contract: "It is time to rethink what kind of radio we want in Cehegn, since what should be a radio at the service of neighbors, plural, participatory, open to society and independent, has never had a functioning regulation, nor a Board of Directors that allows it to develop its functions independently and achieve the goal of becoming a true vehicle of information and communication ", highlighted Moya.
Cs already proposed a regulation of operation in July of 2017 that was approved unanimously, "but that today the mayor does not even consider to comply because he is more comfortable controlling in a partisan way that we all pay cehegineros.
In short, both PP and PSOE have preferred to keep the workers, put by the first with the collusion of the second, in a precarious and irregular situation, to maintain control of the environment.
Now, the consequences of this fudge are going to pay all cehegineros, "said the orange spokesman.
