The School of Wine was the chosen framework in which the diplomas were delivered to the students participating in the Level 2 course "Bar and cafeteria services", aimed at the unemployed.
We remind that this was launched, last October, 2017, through the Department of Local Development and Employment, led by Francisco Chico.
The Mayor of Cehegín, José Rafael Rocamora, was in charge of delivering these accreditations, that is, the Certificate of Professionalism, to the participating students.
He was accompanied by the aforementioned councilor, Francisco Chico, as well as by the councilors of Education and Culture;
and Tourism, Maravillas Fernández and May Molina, respectively.
On the other hand, the act also served so that those present, including the media, could enjoy a series of dishes prepared by the members of this course that, we remember, has served to train in the field of the hotel industry, developing preservice, service and post-service processes proper to the bar-cafeteria, independently applying the corresponding techniques;
welcoming and assisting the client, using, if necessary, the English language;
achieving the quality and established economic objectives, respecting the practical and safety and hygiene standards in food handling and administratively managing small establishments of this nature.
In the food, taking advantage of the framework of the School of Wine, and that it was a restoration course, the media were able to share impressions about the project of School of Hospitality for Cehegín in which the Government Team works.
A course, finally, which has lasted 640 hours, and which has been organized by the City Council of Cehegín and financed by the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF), with funds from the Public Employment Service.
