Juan José Molina: "The objective is to determine if it meets minimum conditions of habitability;
If this is not the case, we should consider the possibility of building a new educational center "
The Education and Culture Committee of the Regional Assembly chaired by the deputy of Citizens, Juan José Molina, has unanimously approved an orange training initiative to conduct an audit at the Río Argos school in the ceheginera district of Valentín, with in order to determine if it meets habitability conditions.
"If this is not the case, we should consider the possibility of building a new educational center," said the Cs deputy, who on March 27 visited the facilities of the Río Argos school in the company of Jerónimo Moya and Jesús Robles, spokesman and councilor of Citizens in the City Council of Cehegín, respectively.
During this visit Molina verified the multiple deficiencies of the center, such as cracks in the classrooms, the lack of an adequate electrical installation or the large amount of accumulated dirt due to neglect.
"The conditions of the center have improved since the visit we made last January since it now has heating, but the technical and structural deficiencies that it presents are unacceptable."
The deputy of the orange training expects the audit to be carried out as soon as possible to determine the conditions in which the center is "because the current situation in which the facilities are located does not allow further delays."
