The Full Council of Cehegín has approved the opening of the recruitment process of the works of the future Garden of Coso, so that interested companies may submit the necessary documentation to qualify for them until the 7th July.
The Official Journal of the Region of Murcia has released this process, which costs 3.9 million euros, which includes, besides the creation of the garden, the construction of a municipal office building.
Once the deadline for submission of tenders, the jury will meet to evaluate them and choose the company that was awarded in these works, which will begin this summer.
The Garden of Coso future, until now a project called 'Oasis', finally become reality.
This allows the reuse of stormwater and sewage from the top of the Casco Antiguo, which will appeal to the fauna, flora and process the water, creating a fantastic ecosystem, "according to the creators of the project, Monica Garcia and Javier Rubio.
This project will involve a major change for this area of Old Town.
Under the title 'The mysterious history of the garden that produces water' was presented in Geneva at the prestigious Holcim, achieving the 'Holcim Awards of Recognition' to sustainable construction in Europe.
