The Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, María Pedro Reverte, and the mayor of Cehegín, Jose Soria, today unveiled two new playgrounds for children in the municipality, located in the parks Ginés Ibáñez and Juan Carlos I, whose works have conditioning received a grant from the region of 130,000 euros.
Both playgrounds have a perimeter security fencing, continuous rubber flooring of different colors and designs as well as different types of games, like a castle for kids, games towers, a slide, swings, climbs and several games floor, rockers, etc.
The performance also benefited from the installation of new street furniture, benches, litter bins, lamp posts, two sources and activities in gardening.
The total budget for the works carried out in both parks totaled 188.
EUR 594.
The first, in the Park Ginés Ibáñez, has involved the investment of 98,282 euros, of which 85,000 have been contributed by the Autonomous Community and the rest by the City of Cehegín.
The action taken in the Parque Juan Carlos I required an investment of 90,312 euros, of which the Autonomous Community provided € 45,000.
The opening of both parks included the holding of a children's party with makeup and balloon twisting workshops for children.
