The Municipal Socialist Cehegín City Council wishes to convey its deepest congratulations to the residents of Cehegín and more specifically the children of our community for the rehabilitation and opening of children's playgrounds located in parks Juan Carlos I Ibáńez and Ginés.
Splendid children's recreational areas that meet the requirements of the Municipal Ordinance governing the features that should meet the specified areas.
In these moments of joy for all, it is worth remembering that all this has been possible to have required several steps:
1 ° A collection of signatures, by several parents concerned about the state of play areas in parks Cehegín and they did reach the Municipal Socialist Group.
2 ° The submission by the PSOE Cehegín a motion and a model ordinance in May 2008 and was "left on the table" for negotiation at the request of the Municipal People's Party Group.
3 ° After several months, after several evasive, it seems that the PP was not too worried, the Municipal Group Socialist refiled the same motion in regular full March 2009.
4 ° The Municipal Socialist Group's concern has always been high in this respect, evidenced by the two motions filed with exactly the same purpose, the approval of a municipal ordinance regulating recreational areas both public and private and to wait for 10 months 10 where the PP Cehegín not shown any concern about delayed and ninguneo and all he could, not approval, but simply to talk about it.
Because for the game to fulfill its true function is necessary to develop under appropriate conditions of security and safety, which, in the case of areas and recreational facilities for public use, must be guaranteed by the government.
The game is an ideal instrument for the harmonious development of personality of the child and, indeed, to perceive his childhood as a stage of being and happiness.
All children have the right to play part of their daily activities as essential to their evolutionary development and socialization process.
The Administration, on its own or in collaboration with other public or private entities, promote cultural activities, sports and recreation.
To this end, it should promote urban developments to extend or create or modify the equipment and facilities necessary and appropriate, depending on the existing child and youth population in the area.
However, for the game to fulfill its true function must be developed in adequate conditions of safety and proper sanitation.
To this end he addressed a motion filed by the Municipal Group Socialist Cehegín, in which we requested that our City Council is adopting a municipal ordinance that established rules, the premise of promoting the game safe for public use playgrounds as a contribution to the socialization of children, to protect both their health and physical integrity and is fully applicable to children's recreational areas of new construction and adaptation, to the extent possible, existing recreational areas in our municipality, not to mention one iota to the hamlets of Cehegín.
This ordinance was proposed to them contain minimal in relation to: Location, Materials, Disabled access, area, safety distances, Preservation, Cleaning, Maintenance, Adults, Signage, Design and Color.
In the end, the tenacity and perseverance of the PSOE in Cehegín was successful and the motion passed unanimously.
