Cehegín City Council and the University of Murcia (UMU) have signed an agreement for the latter to carry out sociological studies in the municipality, aimed at understanding the degree of implementation of the Information Society among cehegineros.
With this work, framed within Cehegín Digital City is also intended to measure the impact it will have on local businesses and citizens the various technological measures are in place, so also will a new study on final project .
The UMU examine various vital indicators such as the percentage of households with PCs, with broadband, the use of e-government by citizens and businesses, or the population using Internet, among others, which will reveal the situation Cehegin compared to other cities.
To this end, the Faculty of Economics and Business, University analyzed data collected in telephone surveys to be carried out to citizens and businesses, led by a specialized firm and students of Commerce and Marketing Alquipir IES.
According to the council for New Technologies Cehegín Francisco in April: "Within two weeks we will present the results of sociological study, we will punctuate the performances that we are doing and we will take during the project Cehegín City Digital.
