School Athletics Athletic Cehegín closed the 2013/14 season with a closing ceremony in which students and coaches participated.
During the course, the school has had an average of 50 students and Federated has had 34 athletes, 22 men and 12 women.
Participation in official tests of different modalities has exceeded 660 athletes.
As for the medals in regional championships, the club has achieved 27 gold, 18 silver and 16 bronze medals in events such as track, cross, march, mile and a half marathon.
Another point to note is that has had 54 finalists in regional championships that have been in post 4 ° to 8 °.
The club makes a completely positive assessment of the development of the season, highlighting the health benefits of sport to children who perform.
Both the club president Juan Martinez, Rosendo Berenguí technical emphasize the educational work of the school, whose purpose goes beyond mere sport to become a social tool that benefits the greatest number of children.
"We work with the Sports Council to make this something affordable and cheap school you can reach the largest possible number of students," said Berenguí.
For next season, the Athletic Cehegín prepares a reorganization of the management team, expanding from two to four the number of technicians and a benefit-including a doctor, a psychologist and a physiotherapist.
"The extension will give better coverage and assistance to a greater number of students, as our intention is to double the number of students and reach about 100 enrolled, twice we've had this year," said Berenguí, who added the registration period will open next September.
